a hectic night! as always in brum the sounds were off the hinge with royal and skeleton in the front of the the pub, and seeds, slobz, didi and automaton in the back as the battle went off, then later gem atkins gave us the pleasure of a 2,3 hr set of hip hop classics. massive respect to our new resdient Gem, mans a legend. if you don't know.. now ya know!
the party went on to the wee hours, chargin' up all the brum family, roll on the next round!

Brum news! - Big dirty warm up went off

July 12th was host to a night of epic proportions in the now infamous rainbow warehouse in digbeth. As dubstep legends rusko + caspa, clouds and tes la rok (but to name a few) killed sound, our burnin'em artists killed a full wall inside the venue to warm up for our second series..
in attendance we had - trav, newso, 2pence (both of em), obenzah, lady rinth and phill blake. i think these photo's say it all..

Secret Wars Cardiff! - Wales destroyed England...3-0

Last Saturday we drove down to Cardiff for a Secret Wars (Tag team) rematch - Last time round England (Teck, Dbug and Max) wowed the crowds with their George of the dragon piece....

This time round things didn't go quite as planned! Reeps and Jeba decided on drawing some zombie SHEEP...probably the last thing the welsh wanted to see! After that it was all down hill from there really.

Casey and Hannah (Welsh team) dropped a rather unusual Secret Wars piece but had a solid plan and stuck to it....nice lines and good execution!

6 pints of lager later it was time to watch the England team suffer for their actions - First judge went Wales and then came the crowd vote, The 300 strong crowd all started cheering in sync (WALES, WALES, WALES......) Blasting the decibel machine into a state of shock (121 db on the reader) against Englands 115db.

All in all this was a great and very fun night - really good to see such strong support for Secret Wars over in the green hills of Wales....Met lots of interesting people and artists who were all keen to get involved! Hopefully we can set up a proper monthly down those ends??? Watch this space....

On Thursday 31st July we'll be giving artists the opportunity to get up and do their thang on the newly made wall. Music will be provided by residents Mr Muffle and R-Kid.
