Swish Swizz Shoe Shop Scheme ..starring Monorex!

While most of the Monorex team were over Secret Wars-ing it in N.Y our man CONZO travelled to BADEN, SWITZERLAND for the opening of Kine EM, a new trendy sneaker store.
The mission was to paint Reebok athletic footwear and we asked local boy Dr. Drax from the One Truth crew to join.
A good day in the sun produced more than 30 happy new customs owners!

SECRET WARS GLASGOW: SCOTLAND Vs ENGLAND

The night was booming! The tunes were throbbing with the amazing DJ set!

It was a close battle with both teams flexing different styles, Jimi and Teck flew in just hours before the battle so they were jet lagged but as usual the gents morphed up a beautifully clean, bold and well composed battle piece taking a striking lead from the start. The Scots, Vues and Conzo brought two different styles to the table stirring up a tasty Glasgow flavoured inky broth!

In the end the Scots managed to scoop a win on their home turf

*Crowd Vote (an obvious one!) - Scotland

*Judge 1 (Amy from the Recoat Gallery) - England

*Judge 2 (Australian Graffiti Artist ‘Smug’) – Scotland

Thanks to all those involved and who helped make Scotland’s 1st ever Secret Wars happen!!!

MONOREX X SECRET WARS X REEBOK @ BBB, BARCELONA (JULY)

Monorex x Secret Wars x Reebok linked once again on a follow on project - inviting another 8 fresh artists to come and battle on one of the biggest stages in recent history!!

Rather than last time where we dropped a singles European championship - this time round we decided to celebrate what both brands achieved last time, dropping new experimental battle concepts (Tag team, Royale Rumble and Female vs. Male)....

The artwork produced was once again first class and attracted a majority crowd for the 3 days - Alongside this Reebok were giving away 100 golden tickets, in which the lucky person could exchange for a pair of custom kicks....

Reebok x Secret Wars did not stop there! The boys from Everyone added the final piece to an already colourful jigsaw, A WHITE 80'S ICE CREAM VAN!! In which our boys were invited to paint in the SW mono colourway....While this was going on the Reebok girls were giving out 20,000 custom ice pops!

The concept space again killed off all competition and was easily the talk of the town....
