SECRET WARS X HAVANA CLUB

Head to the one off art battle at Village Underground for a fast and furious creative experience like no other. Sponsored by Havana Club, the live art battle will last for 100 minutes and pitch two teams of acclaimed artists against each other in a bid to produce the freshest and most exciting wall mural.

Art battle at Village Underground
Celebrating street art and Cuban culture in a creative and original style, the art battle at Village Underground is a combined effort between the Secret War crew and Cuban rum giant Havana Club. Using only coloured (first coloured SW battle) acrylics and edding special markers on a 200 foot white wall, two teams of artists will compete against each other to produce the most creative and cutting edge wall mural.

Audience participation
The results of the art battle at Village Underground will be judged by a panel of experts. The audience will also have a big say in which team emerges as victorious, as the crowd vote will be measured using a decibel reader. The wall mural will then be displayed at Village Underground from Thursday 5th March - Tuesday 10th March alongside key pieces from the 100 Pieces of Havana exhibition.

WANNA COME ALONG?
The art battle at Village Underground takes place on Wednesday 4th March 2009. Entrance is free but space is limited. For more information and to get a place on the guest list.

SECRET WARS SEMI FINALS!

Massive night, packed to the rafters with anxious revelers waiting to see another set of artists get beat down and slung out!
Close contests and controversial outcomes as Hicks pulled the rug from under Drunk Park.
Reeps pulled out a good'un against the tournament favourite Mr K, which was enough to sway 1 judge and the crowd to vote for the mechanoid...

Session banged out tune after tune of goodness, and Jimi C gave the T4 presenters a run for their money with another impeccable performance... HA!!!

So, there we have it, the final is upon us (date tbc).... REEPS Vs HICKS, who will join Alfa and Wen in the winners circle and take the £1000 cash prize...

Dont forget to check the SECRET WARS website to stay tuned....
